| In May 1942 the production of new tank hunter Sd.Kfz. 138 was started...In May 1942 the production of new tank hunter Sd.Kfz. 138 was started. Its arms consist of 75mm gun Pak40/3 and 7,92mm MG-37(t) machine gun. The thickness of front armor was equal to 15mm. The ammunition supply consists of 38 rounds. The crew was four members. In total 242 Sd.Kfz. 138 were produced. In 1944 it was appropriated the name Marder III. |
